Swans on the lake

This is the time of year when swans gather on the lake.
It’s pretty extraordinary to see these huge, magnificent birds in such numbers.
These photos were all taken at maximum zoom from the road, so the birds are pretty far away. However there’s a spot in the park where I can get closer. There the birds are engaging in courtship, and the noise and sheer quantity is a sight to see.
One of these days I’m going to have to take a photographic excursion and immerse myself in swans.
