(Before It's News)
Hey, y’all! If you’ve been following me on Instagram {
HERE} you already know I received a Dutch oven as a gift this week. I’ve already made two delicious meals in it and have quickly fallen in love. I wanted to share my easy BBQ chicken recipe with all of you.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds skinless boneless chicken breasts tenderloins
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ onion, chopped
- 2-3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1½ cups of your favorite BBQ sauce
- ½ cup chicken broth
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp paprika
- 2 tsp pepper
Directions
Heat your olive oil over medium heat and cook your onion and garlic until tender. Add your paprika, chicken broth, and chicken breast tenderloins and stir together. Allow mixture to come to a boil, add your BBQ sauce and reduce heat to a simmer. Cover with the lid. Cook for approximately 30 minutes or until chicken is cooked through, Remove lid and shred chicken. As you are shredding your chicken, the sauce will cook down and thicken.
You can enjoy this chicken on hamburger buns, just as it is, or wrapped in lettuce if you are trying to eat healthier. No matter how you enjoy it, this dish is amazing! Serve it with your favorite coleslaw recipe and baked beans and your family will think you worked on this all day.
