Man, I hate to wax “Conspiracy Theorist” here, but sometimes I gotta wonder at the timing of certain terrible deeds…
As Friday closes, yet another massive global banking fraud scandal is surfacing, while at the same time, a UN resolution to ban gun ownership to private citizens is about to be voted upon. The first thing could really use another news item to distract the over-worked, under-employed, short-attention-spanned public. And the second needs something to get more Americans on board to give up their 2nd Amendment rights.
Then a Ph.D. student who studed NEURO-SCIENCE, who is on unemployment and broke, somehow comes up with the funds and connections to get access to all this equipment and knowledge to put together this Batman movie massacre. Then just gives up and tells them his apartment is booby-trapped. And it is, with a super-sophisticated system of powder, liquids, wires, and technology.
Color me suspicious and stuff.
What happened is awful on so many levels. I am not even beginning to deny that. Its disgusting and evil in every sense of the word. But I have a hard time digesting that this was truly a “lone gunman” situation. Maybe it is– but wow! If so, it sure seems to benefit all the wrong people. How very lucky for them, eh? Fortune smiled on them, apparently. If it isn't, and it turns out that assholes in power somehow planned this, sacrificed some innocent people to further their cause-? There is no justification for such an act, and I hope sincerely that they get exposed and dragged into the streets by unruly mobs bent upon immediate revenge.
Its easier to believe in possible conspiracy than in uncanny luck. Or maybe that's just me.
Doesn't matter what I speculate about, in the end. After all, I have no influence over these types of events, either way. I just had to say– seems a mite convenient to me.
