Did NASA Fake This Moon Landing Photo, Too?

(Before It's News)

Sorry, I know very little about uneven lighting, multiple lighting, shadow color, etc. This is only an inquiry, not a conclusion.

Lunar and Planetary Institute displays the following photos showing Lunar Module and a human shadow on the moon: http://www.lpi.usra.edu/resources/apollo/frame/?AS11-40-5962

http://www.lpi.usra.edu/resources/apollo/images/print/AS11/40/5962.jpg

However, the human shadow seems to have been pasted onto the photo, for there should have been a crosshair on the human shadow, but there is none.  In the same photo (see second link), why was there a crosshair in the shadow of the Lunar Module while there was none in the human shadow? How could the human shadow be darker than the Lunar Module shadow?

Did NASA fake this photo in addition to this one http://www.wretch.cc/album/show.php?i=lin440315&b=30&f=1044228676&p=29?

Added on April 9: The "Sage Brush" photo is a fake, not a mistake.

Mary Ann Hager of Lunar and Planetary Institute replied that this photo was mistakenly placed in the Lunar Sample Atlas: http://www.lpi.usra.edu/lunar/samples/atlas/thin_section/?mission=Apollo%2011&sample=10065&source_id=S69-54910 (ref. 1)

However, the above image shows crosshairs and human shadows without human images. Many "moon landing" images show crosshairs and human shadows without human images. No such things happen in the Apollo training images (see http://galaxywire.net/2009/06/29/apollo-11-lunar-surface-simulation-training-photo-collection/ )

So, the photo containing the "sage brush" is not mistakenly placed in the Lunar Sample Atlas. It was meant to be there.

Also, the following photos seem to show uneven lighting: http://www.lpi.usra.edu/resources/apollo/frame/?AS11-40-5888

Added on April 10: No Apollo Training Photos Show Crosshairs

I searched Google images with the term "Apollo training photos" and found none that shows crosshairs in the photo. Results of the google search include photos taken during geologic field trips, outside buildings, inside a building, etc. Repeat: no training photo shows crosshairs.

Added on April 14: How NASA Fabricated Moon Landing Images

NASA used micrographs of achondrite meteorites as substrate of many images of lunar surface, specifically Apollo images taken with Hasselblad cameras. For example, the following photos show microscopic blood vessels on the “moon”:  http://www.wretch.cc/album/show.php?i=lin440315&b=30&f=1044251983&p=37

http://www.wretch.cc/album/show.php?i=lin440315&b=30&f=1044251984&p=38

Many such images show microscopic neuron remains in the foreground of images.

Added on April 15: How NASA Faked Moon Landing Images, Part II

NASA used micrographs of achondrite meteorites as lunar surface. For example, the following Apollo images of lunar surface show many microscopic neuron remains: http://www.wretch.cc/album/show.php?i=lin440315&b=30&f=1044259863&p=40

  • Nim

Don’t you disparage Stanley Kubrick’s work!

  • Or this one as fake as the others or maybe not…

  • nim.. hehe, good one. my question is, where are the footprints? or was that one giant leap from the module to the photo vantage point.

  • heh, the directions of the shadows don’t even match. and the AC 2012 was shopped out.

  • The fact that there’s vegetation proves to any thinking person that the picture is NOT on the moon. smh

  • Another conspiracy theorist that has wayyy too much time on their hands. Every Apollo mission has a landing stage resting on the Moon’s surface, except Apollo 8 where they crashed it into the Moon’s surface. The Hubble did an extensive scan of the Moon (while waiting for Columbia’s famous fix and upgrade mission), and the photos are there to prove it. Even Apollo 8′s LM crash site. Or are you postulating that there were no Shuttle missions either?

The photo that has a sagebrush in it came from when they were testing the new suits used after the Apollo 1 disaster. Nice fake of the source, by the way. You need to keep your day job.

    i agree longshorts

  • You guys are why I come to this web site. Let me guess, Bush is an alien and that wack job Alex Jones is the only man on Earth telling the truth?? You idiots wouldn’t know the truth if it hit you in the friggin head. Get an education……LOL.

  • Uhhh…longshorts…

Apollo 8 never left earth with a Lunar Module. So there cannot be a “Apollo 8 Lunar crash site.”

  • Can anyone explain how it is that two astro-nots fulled kitted out in their very bulky spacesuits can JUST FIT inside the LEM ? How did they even get into the suits ? Manual dexterity would have been as close to zero as it is possible to get. The exit hatch is at knee level and is almost big enough for a non-spacesuited man to get out. If you look at the door ( there are two LEMs at the KSC ) it is not even airtight. It has two ordinary hinges on it and a fridge-door handle. Which would not keep the extreme vacuum of the Moon’s environment at bay. The bodywork of the LEM is an absolute joke, bad Meccano is what springs to mind. The control panel looks like something from a low-budget Flash Gordon movie. The “radar proximity sensor” has its needle painted on at the 1.5 mark ! Really! These boys did not go to the Moon. Trust me. That’s why they all refused to swear an oath on the Bible that they had been there. Except one of them, who did so after stating that he didn’t believe in God anyway. And then threatened to get the FBI to “waste” the interviewer. ( Taken from “A funny thing happened on the way to the Moon”.) Oh, and btw, they were supposed to defaecate into plastic bags, and put the bags under the cover to the Main Liftoff Motor. When they opened the door to go outside, these bags would have exploded. As would their TV dinners, which you have to see to believe. I always wondered how it was that when the LEM lifted off, the camera watching them leave swivelled upwards at the exact moment of blastoff. Now I know. Either that, or they tied one end of a piece of string to the tripod, and the other end to one of the LEM’s antennae.
Here, you read it. And weep. For America’s tax dollars, and all the mugs who have believed every word of this disgusting fraud.
