Spectacular Images of galaxies and stars from the Hubble Telescope in Ultra Deep Space. It is estimated since repairs were carried out and new cameras fitted to the hubble telescope in 2009 that there are 200 billion stars in our own galaxy “The Milky Way”.
Astronomers estimate there are 100 billion to 1 Trillion galaxies in space. Therefore there are between 10 sextillion and 1 septillion stars in the Universe. This is equivalent to 10 x the number of every single grain of sand on earth.
Here are just images a few taken from the amazing Hubble Telescope. Special thanks to NASA and ESA for being so generous with the use of their high resolution images.
