(Before It's News)

http://lupuvictor.blogspot.com Grimaldi (222 km), 5.2 S, 68.6 V, is a large dark region, near the western edge of the Moon. Grimaldi occupies the central part of a larger and less distinct basin of 430 km in diameter. It is easy to locate it at any lighting, even at extreme oscillation.
This flooded basin with a dark floor, can be seen even with binoculars.
Rima Grimaldi, a system of rilles 230 km long, is located in high areas, south-east of Grimaldi.
