(ALTHeadines) Gobekli Tepe, a new wonder of the ancient world is thought to be the world’s first temple. Located six miles from an ancient city in Turkey called Urfa, there is a massive arrangement of carved stones that are thought to be 11,000 years old. The most amazing thing is that they were created before the people living here had tools and the thought to even construct them. Thought to be the world’s oldest temple it is an astonishing sight to see.

  • Until the church institution will be there the world won’t be able to know its real history

    • Apologies for seeming like a grammar Nazi, but I honestly can’t understand what point you’re trying to make with your post. Would you mind trying again?

  • No. That Von Daniken crap was exposed in the 70s. There’s no excuse for believing it today.

    • This isn’t about Von Daniken. Gobekli Tepe is real. It actually exits. Do some basic reading before spouting nonsense.

  • Let those mullah soccer fans manage those wall things, they are always good at burning down the house.

No, not aliens, but ancient humans. With their abstract way of thinking, they might just as well be for all we understand Gobekli Tepe. It was very carefully and deliberately buried, for unknown reasons. It shares common icons with Easter Island. It’s obviously shamanic with their allegorical totemic way of describing things. What they were trying to tell us is completely lost on our modern literal mind sets with our use of labels instead of descriptions.

You never know though, one day we may get it. :D

” The finely chiseled columns and other features are believed to have only been possible with tools beyond the technology believed to be available to these ancient people. ”

That’s an assumption based on ego. ie they couldn’t possible have known more than we do. There are many OOPOs. Out Of Place Objects. Medical obstetric instruments that prevent the user from using too much force for example, carved from the most brittle stone there is. There are some diorite granite vases, that are as polished on the inside as they are on the outside. We can’t even polish soap stone on the inside of a vase with such skill. They knew about black light, they used flourescite inlays on darker stone, that represent star constellations, which only glow under ultraviolet light. There are many thousands of other such examples.

There is one OOPO I forgot that dose not come from the middle east, of some odd shaped small carved stones they found in Scotland. Turns out they are perfect models of the different types of pollen from plants that grow in Scotland. Of course you can’t see the shape of pollen without strong magnification, you need a microscope to see pollen. They are extremely ancient.
