In this short video explainer, Universe Today publisher investigates the myth of Planet X. No, there isn’t a big planet coming our way. But the myth and allure of more planets out there has kept astronomers busy for centuries. And could there be a huge planet, still undiscovered, out beyond the orbit of Pluto?

Planet X is a term for an unknown planet. I think you mean “Nibiru”

There is obviously a “Planet X” because there are trillions of unknown planets in the galaxy.

The question is: “Does Nibiru Exist?” NOT “Is There Really A Planet X?”

Planet X is a term for a yet undiscovered planet in OUR solar system, not exoplanets. Some may exclude objects smaller than our moon, such as Eris (before its discovery in 2005).

IMO definitely anything on the order of one earth mass or greater would qualify, and IMO it could well exist, and if so, could be the source of many of these oort cloud comets coming from the general direction of orion or lepus.
