Scientists now receive 16 hours of information a day from the craft, mainly about the heliosphere, the Sun’s atmosphere, whose extent and behavior are mysteries.
The satellite may detect gravity waves, the gravitational radiation that in theory should emanate from cosmic cataclysms, such as exploding stars, but in practice has not been found.
Pioneer 10 might also find the source of the gravitational force tugging at Uranus and Neptune, what some have suggestively called Planet X.

 

Planet X and Past Extinction Events — 1984 to 1987

The following excerpt is from a rather lengthy article, documenting a growing consensus about the Planet X theory, in the scientific community.

That being, Planet X is most likely a brown dwarf binary companion to the sun and that it has not been found yet due to its highly elliptical orbit.

Scientist Seek Key to Mass Extinctions on Earth

For several months now the possible mechanism that has stirred the greatest interest and debate is the one involving the Sun’s theorized companion star, Nemesis, or “death star” as scientists call it.
The companion star, they reasoned, could follow an eccentric orbit about one-and-a-half times as long as it is wide that would take it far out, as much as three light years from the Sun, and bring it back to the vicinity of the near solar system only once every 26 million years.

The scientists further concur that if this theory is true, then it would most certainly explain the extinction level events of Earth’s history.

In a publication of their theory in the Jan 3 issue of Nature, a leading British scientific journal, the two researchers from the University of Southwestern Louisiana said their description of Planet X is the first to provide solutions to both the periodic extinction problem and the orbital variation problem.

Planet May Have Killed Dinosaurs

“The bottom line is which of these objects gets discovered,” he said. “If neither is found, that may be evidence there is no periodicity in prehistoric extinctions,” he said.
The above articles are discussing the Sun’s “Nemesis” theory versus the Planet X theory.
The British article in Nature Journal contends that Planet X solves both the extinction level events and the disturbances in the orbits of the outer planets.

What Killed the Dinosaurs? New Theory Heats Up Debate

Whitmire and John Matese, also a professor of physics and astronomy, believe a mysterious Planet X circling the Sun outside the orbits of the known planets periodically draws comets into a collision course with the Earth.
He said Wednesday that the theory could explain dinosaur extinction peaks that occurred more recently.

Dewey M. McLean contends that extreme volcanism and not asteroid bombardment was responsible for the extinction of the dinosaurs.

NY Times – July 1, 1987

Looking for Planet X: Old Clues, New Theory

If there is a large planet toward the edge of the solar system, said the scientist, John Anderson of the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, it must be traveling in an elongated orbit nearly at a right angle to the orbits of the other planets.
Such an orbit would bring the planet near the rest of the solar system only every 700 to 1000 years, he said.

But he feels certain that the Pioneer probes have ruled out one possibility, Neptune and Uranus probably were not disturbed by a distant star, because the gravitational effects from such a star should have pulled ever so slightly on the probes.

This article is summarizing the Planet X chronology, yet again, but notes that scientists have ruled out the existence of a distant star causing the deviation in the orbits of the outer planets.
This is significant in that the possibilities of something other than Planet X being the cause are slowly being eliminated.
 

Harrington Renews PX Search — 1990 to 1993

Robert Harrington has renewed his search for Planet X and he is discussing using his new telescope to photograph where he thinks Planet X is located.

Astronomer’s Search for the Theoretical 10th planet

That relatively small area of the heavens will be searched in April and May by an astrographic telescope at Black Birch. The telescope will take pictures of the target area on successive nights and the photos will be sent to Washington for study.
This is significant. Notice the last few words of the paragraph, “the photos will be sent to Washington.”
Although Harrington would not find Planet X for another three years, many believe those photos showed the incoming behemoth and led to Harrington’s suspiciously sudden death immediately thereafter.

“The earth will be shaken to its foundations. The sea will rise, its roaring waves will spread over the continent.

“The Earth will become like a vast cemetery. The bodies of the wicked and the just will cover the ground. …The three days of darkness will begin on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Days of the Most Holy Sacrament, of the Cross and Our Lady… three days less one night.     Search the Scriptures and you will not find a prophecy about 3 days of darkness with respect to the end of the age.

    The New Testament proclaims that we “are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone” (Ephesians 2:20).

    So part of our foundation consists of the apostles, who are animated by the testimony of Jesus, which is the spirit of prophecy (see REV 19:10). And nowhere in the Gospels or the rest of the New Testament do the apostles say anything about this so-called prophecy of 3 days of darkness.

    Our foundation also consists of the prophets, of which our Chief Cornerstone, Jesus, said this:

    “Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.”
    —Matthew 5:17

    The prophets Jesus referred to that He came to fulfill, are what today are commonly known as the Old Testament prophets, the books of Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Joel, and so forth.

    So if our Savior and the Chief Cornerstone of our foundation was looking for prophetic truth in what Isaiah said, in what Jeremiah said, in what Ezekiel said, and so forth, where then should we be looking for prophetic truth?

    Nowhere in the Old Testament prophets do you find a 3 days of darkness prophecy concerning the end of the age.

    So when put up against the measuring line of the prophets and the testimony of Jesus, this 3 days of darkness thing utterly fails as a prophecy.

    If you want to go outside the prophets and outside the testimony of Jesus for prophecies, that is up to you. But remember:

    “Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.”
    —Amos 3:7

    First and foremost, NEVER USE THE BIBLE (Biggest Irrefutable Book of Lies Ever) as a reference. It’s ridiculous! EVERYBODY know it was created to CONTROL us all by the Illuminati. All of the information in it is amended and bolted to serve one purpose only. The Bible is fallacious and nothing else. All religions are!!!

    IF WE ARE TO GET AWAY from this stupid system we are living in, we CANT hold on to the things it was built on? Its common sense. Abolish religion in its present forms which only has been PURE TYRANNY for people. Abolish THE MONEY system, it only plays the ones who HAVE straight in their hands. Abolish the whole POWER STRUCTURE were some sit and decide over us all. AND WE DON’T WANT TO PAY FOR TO BE ABLE TO LIVE IN OUR OWN COUNTRIES. ITS OUR COUNTRIES NOT THEIRS. BUT WE STILL PAY FOR SOMETHING THAT IS ALREADY OURS How stupid are we? Anunnaki created us, Anunnaki was not evil. Anunnaki is NOT here anymore. We are the remnants of Anunnaki.     Second: Nibiru will NOT come anytime soon. Nibiru will pass Earth only in about 500 years. Sitchin showed us all calculations and did the math on this. So keep the facts straight. And when it comes around, the people living in the future, keep this in mind:

    It is not always so Nibiru causes problems for EARTH. But when this happens, it is because the path has changed or disturbed by chaos theory. What happens when chaos theory insert is that the device is disturbed by a sudden fluctuation in chaos theory. It is therefore sometimes Nibiru just doesn’t go in the exact trajectory it had last time.

      Now that is truth. Well said. Also the bible contradicts itself beyond belief that even i could’ve done a better job putting it together. There are few like us. I see this planet for what it truly is but i also mourn it because we are killing it. and i mean at a pace i never deemed was possible. The future we are setting for our offspring to keep reincarnation going is fading. I feel different than what i use to. Is this reality?

    Perhaps our very existence and the existence of the dinosaurs came from genetic engineering by the Anunnaki. Read Ephesians 6:11-17 in the context of our rulers and creators, the Anunnaki: Put on the whole armor of God, so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our struggle is not against enemies of blood and flesh, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armor of God, so that you may be able to withstand on that evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. Stand therefore, and fasten the belt of truth around your waist, and put on the breastplate of righteousness. As shoes for your feet put on whatever will make you ready to proclaim the gospel of peace. Take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

    So, now what “cosmic powers” of this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in heavenly places are really being discussed? With all the muddle and confusion, do we really know what the truth is? Secrets have been hidden from humans since the beginning of our time.     IF THIS THING EXISTS AND IS SO CLOSE, EVERY SINGLE AMATUER ASTRONOMER ON THE PLANET WOULD BE POSTING PHOTOS AND CALLING EVERY NEWS OUTLET ON THE PLANET, CALLING NASA AND WRITTING ARTICLES FOR THEIR LOCAL NEWSPAPER.
    THEIR WOULD BE 10′S AND 100′S OF 1,000′S OF PIECES OF PROOF THAT NOT EVEN ANELITE OVER CLASS COULD STOP FROM BECOMING COMMON KNOWLEDGE THROUGH GRASSROOTS NETWORKS
