ALERT: Scientists Warn Of ‘Mega Quake’ As SIX MAJOR Earthquakes Strike  in 48 hours

There have been SIX large earthquakes recorded the last 48 hours including a major one in southern Japan which destroyed buildings and left at least 45 people injured, after Myanmar was rocked on Wednesday.

Tremors were also felt as far as 500 miles away at the national park in India where the Royal couple Kate and William were visiting.

TEN large earthquakes were recorded the last SEVEN days.

Scientists have raised the alarm that the unusual number of quakes occurring  at the moment could be a precursor to “the big one” – indicating that a cataclysmic mega-quake might be on its way in the next few days.

UPDATE: Magnitude  7.0     1km WSW of Kumamoto-shi, Japan
2016-04-15 16:25:06 UTC  10.0 km deep

Scientists say that the above number of significant quakes across south Asia and the Pacific this year likely means that we are about to experience an earthquake the size of the Nepal quake of 2015 in which 8,000 people died.

Roger Bilham, seismologist of University of Colorado, said:
“The current conditions might trigger at least four earthquakes greater than 8.0 in magnitude, and if they delay, the strain accumulated during the centuries provokes more catastrophic
mega earthquakes.”

SIX Strong earthquakes the last 48 hours. Today a magnitude 6.2 in Guatemala.

TEN strong earthquakes the last 7 days.
A single magnitude 8.0 earthquake in a populated area would be a disaster of historic proportions. If we were to see four of them like Roger Bilham is projecting, that would be a complete and utter nightmare.

It is important to keep in mind that a magnitude 8.0 earthquake
would be many times larger than the twin earthquakes that hit Japan.

Why is Asia shaking so violently all of a sudden?
Does this shaking bode ill for other areas along the “Ring of Fire” including the west coast of the United States?

  • Nothing new. Nothing to worry about. Nothing anyone can do about it. Relax and hang on.

    • Its how we know these HAARP quakes are man-made- proportionately large ones never follow on the US west coast. but hit everywhere else, in violation of geotechtonics and the laws of lithospheric science.

  • “Come on over baby, a whole lot of shakin goin on.”

When I was getting my graduate degree, I learned that we don’t have the technology to predict earthquakes, either their strength or location. I don’t think anything has changed since then.
