(Before It's News)

Bolivian President Evo Morales said on Saturday he would grant asylum, if requested, to former U.S. intelligence agency contractor Edward Snowden. Morales’ offer came after two other leftist Latin American leaders – Venezuela’s Nicolas Maduro and Nicaragua’s Daniel Ortega – also said they would help the U.S. fugitive, who is believed to be holed up in the transit area of a Moscow international airport.

Bam! blowback time.  Evo Morales, President of Bolivia, has offered NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden asylum.  Bolivia is the 2nd nation in the last 24 hours to offer him asylum, Venezuela is the other, and the a 3rd, Nicaragua, said they would give him asylum if he met certain criteria.  This comes after the presidential aircraft of Bolivia was forced down in Austria with the president on board because the US government thought that Edward Snowden was on board.  Evo was pissed.  Bolivia was pissed and this is the result of that. They are also threatening to shut down the US embassy there.  If I were Mr. Snoden, I would request and accept asylum in Bolivia.  Bolivia is the only country on earth to give Earth legal rights. Its population of 10 million is multiethnic and peaceful, and its a beautiful country full of good food, so I hear.  Good luck Mr. Snowden. -Mort

  • I was hoping they would offer Snowden asylum after Bolivian President Evo Morales was treated the way he was. As far as I’m concerned they put his life in danger. WTF would happen if Air Force 1 was detained and searched?
