Forgiveness Doesn’t Have a Business Plan

(Before It's News)

forgiveness_letter_3008x2000Recently we received an email from one of our Forgiveness Project Teleseminar listeners. The tone of his email was one of disappointment. Behind the disappointment we could feel the energy of anger and frustration.

He could not understand how we did not provide our listeners with some step-by-step action plan for experiencing forgiveness. Essentially, he was looking for something like a business plan that outlined a to-do list to accomplish forgiveness.

This email had us both wondering: is this person the only one who believes that forgiveness is a goal that can be achieved by a set of action steps?  We both agreed there must be a great deal of people in our society who believe forgiveness is something you get by using specific actions and applications.

The reality is that forgiveness does not have a business plan. Forgiveness is not based on knowledge. Nor is it based in our intellect. It is not a science. There are no theories attached to it. It cannot be taught. You read stories about its power and how it has changed countless lives and how, if you are open to it, can even inspire you to change your life.

We cannot forgive our way to forgiveness because forgiveness is emotional. When we speak or write about anything that is linked to human emotion, we can never explain it through any mathematical equation or scientific formula.

It is true that Einstein gave us E=MC2, but if you asked him to scientifically outline an explanation for human emotions, consciousness and the power of forgiveness, he would have probably burst out laughing.

Forgiveness has been called an act: the act of forgiveness. The implication here is that forgiveness is an action step.  This is a misperception. In reality, you do not have to do anything to experience forgiveness.

Forgiveness is an invisible power that can manifest some miraculous results. Forgiveness lives in a higher consciousness. Consciousness goes beyond thinking and our intellect. Consciousness is awareness. The higher the consciousness, the more divine the field of energy. Forgiveness resides in the realm of divinity.

The good news is we all possess a higher consciousness. Within each of us is a point of divine power where forgiveness is natural. To tap in to this point of divine power requires us to shift our energy field. To do this, we do not have to do anything. We simply make an agreement with ourselves to raise our consciousness to a higher level so we can truly experience forgiveness.

Once we consciously make the decision to experience forgiveness, the Universe will intervene on our behalf.

Through a series of synchronistic events (which your mind may call accidents and coincidences), you will be given the opportunity to let go of emotional blocks and barriers rooted in fear and lower levels of consciousness, and begin to experience a more forgiving nature.

When we let go of the drama, the victimhood, the story of struggle and fear, we can forgive. When we forgive, we can create new beginnings with new storylines. Stories laced with fear are replaced by stories grounded in unconditional love.

A while back we wrote about Goals Made Easy and spoke about the goal of experiencing inner peace. To experience inner peace requires forgiveness. Without forgiveness you can never experience inner peace.

Know that within you resides inner peace. It lives in that point of divine power we wrote about earlier. It is who you are at your highest level of consciousness. No matter how ‘low” your life on the physical plane appears now, realize that through the power of forgiveness of others and of yourself, you will create miracles in your life and for those you care about most.

Here is the short list of some of the miraculous life changing benefits and bonuses of forgiveness you will witness in your life when you consciously agree to forgive those (including yourself) who have harmed you in any way during your lifetime:

  1. Inner Peace
  2. Unconditional Love
  3. Improved physical and emotional health
  4. Authentic, love-based relationships
  5. Stronger connections to all Life forms
  6. Increased creativity, inspiration and enthusiasm
  7. A sense of wholeness and completeness
  8. A sense of well-being and belonging

You are just one decision away from creating miracles in your life and for the lives of those you love. A decision for forgiveness is a decision to cease living a life of fear and begin to live a life rooted in love. Decide today to let forgiveness into your life!
