Understanding what you have never been taught by the church.
Offerings.
Sure offerings were given as sacrifice. But not all of them. If you lived near the temple it was how you got your meat butchered. You had a priest do it for you properly and then you took home all but certain portions of it. That meat became holy and the unclean person could not eat of it. But if you didn’t live conviently close to the temple for that then:
Deu 12:21 If the place which YAHUAH your ELOHIM shall choose to put His name there is too far from you, then you shall kill of your herd and of your flock which Jehovah has given you, as I have commanded you; and you shall eat within your gates according to all the desire of your soul.
Deu 12:22 Only, as the gazelle and the hart are eaten, so you shall eat of it; the unclean and the clean may eat of it alike.
Deu 12:23 Only, be sure not to eat the blood, for the blood is the life, and you shall not eat the life with the flesh;
Deu 12:24 You shall not eat it; you shall pour it on the earth as water.
Deu 12:25 You shall not eat it in order that it may be well with you and with your sons after you, when you do that which is right in the eyes of Yahuah.
The draining of blood is something done today as a matter of common sense in butchering meat. Not so back in those days. Not so even now in some places. . Another thing that was important to Yahuah. Painless death of these animals and kindness in their treatment. He was also sheilding men from being bloody butchers. It does something to people.
There are so many of these things that people just don’t understand because we put our standards of living in the 21st century onto the Words of the Scripture
And there is that problem that 99.999 percent of you have never even read the WHOLE WORD. Only the parts your pastor reads to you or your Sun day school teacher.
There might be a problem with that.
