The Symbol of the Baphomet is Symbol of the Ascension

The symbol of the Baphomet, symbol of the Ascension, has been demonized.The Nights Templar, whose symbol it was, were exterminated over six years beginning in 1306 by the French King with the help of a Pope, as were the Cathars of the Languedoc. The Eastern teaching of the Ascension process, alive in these two Orders, was blocked out.

The symbol of the Baphomet, which came from Ancient Egypt is all about mind. Five is the number of mind: five fingers on each hand, five toes on each foot, five extremities on a human person (two arms, two legs and a head). and the five pointed star with the single point up on the Baphomet’s forehead.

The two moon symbols are of our ‘lunar nature’, the personality, or our conscious mind. Two fingers of the Baphomet’s left hand are pointing down, indicating duality – the duality in which we live, where mind dissociates others from itself and puts them outside of Self, away from the individual. One finger of the Baphomet’s right hand, the index finger, points up, indicating unity awareness, where the individual sees others as in himself and himself in others.

In reality, mind inhabits all things, and there is a gradual evolution of mind through each of the Kingdoms in Nature: from the rocks and minerals, through one celled organisms, to plants, to insects, to animals and the two eyed creatures, including man. All is connected. And this is what Ascension in frequency or vibration gives us, a wider or deeper outlook.

The means is depicted in the Baphomet symbol. The sexual organs are covered up, meaning they’re not active. The energy of the Serpent (Kundalini) begins to rise up through the Chakra Energy System located along the backbone. So we get the lighted moon. The bestial nature of the goat, symbol for Capricorn, has to be transformed and turned from the physical mind to the Spiritual Mind. The Goat has to climb the Spiritual Mountain.

We become disciplined, we enter into Discipleship, and the discipline comes entirely from within, not from outside of ourselves.

This is the ONLY way to Ascend and it must be done in a physical body, and cannot be done outside of a body, after our physical deaths. Matter, itself, has to ascend in frequency because it, too is part of the One Life.
