Witness Statement: It was a fairly bright evening due to the good weather we were experiencing at the time. I saw a faintly lit object flying quite high across the sky from south to north, It was moving faster than a plane, but a lot slower than a shooting star, the object moved in a straight line and did not deviate from its course, eventually it disappeared into the distant sky, interesting fact is that any aircraft that fly over our area would fly east to west or visa-versa. The weirdest thing though was that about 5 mins later, I did see a shooting star falling which was about 10 times brighter than the first object I saw, so what was it? You’re guess is as good as mine!
