(Before It's News)

The 6th Seal of Revelation begins the Earth’s renewal cycle. This is the judgment Harold Camping hoped to escape in his Rapture theology.
“Rapture” isn’t really a Biblical term. There’s pre-Tribulation, mid-Tribulation, and post-Tribulation Rapture theorists. They all point to the main passage in the New Testament where Jesus explains the End of Days will be like this: “Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left.” Matthew 24:40
It disturbs me people put their faith into some theory that they will be special enough to escape the judgments prescribed to the rest of humanity. What if God doesn’t take them? Will they lose their minds, faith, and/or life, etc?
Before the Rapture, Jesus explains that this will occur first: “Immediately after the distress of those days “the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.” Matthew 24:29
Matthew 24:29 reads similar to the 6th Seal of Revelation: “I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as late figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind. The sky receded like a scroll, rolling up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place. Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and every slave and every free man hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains. They called to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?” Revelation 6:12-17
After the earthquake, sun turning black, moon turning red, and stars falling from the sky and everything shaking . . . then the angels come to seal the elect.
