The Staples Center in Los Angeles represents a clock. What you see above are two images: first the Staples Center and second a clock superimposed on top of the first image.

Notice the clock’s short/wide end of the hand points to the 8 and the clock’s long/pointy head points to the 2.

Eight in military time can be 0800 or 2000 hours. Two represents 10 minutes. The time would be 0810 or 2010.

However, another way to look at this clock is to see the time representing not hours and minutes but years. The year 2010 to be exact.

Why doesn’t this clock’s hands point perfectly to 8 and 2 or 2010? This is puzzling me. We know that if it were pointing to 7 and 1 or 2, then the short/wide end would be very close to the 7 and nowhere near the 8. We assume this is image is oriented North, but true North is every difficult to ascertain. Maybe that’s the difference? Or maybe there is some other hidden meaning?

Notice I was compelled to color a section yellow. This lines up with the lower rooftops, which are not equidistant in width. The entrance way near the 8 is only 5 tick marks wide and the exit way near the 2 is 6 tick marks wide. Why? I don’t know. 6 + 5 = 11 and have you noticed the 1111 in the address?

11 looks like a gateway to me.

The word “staple” has its origin from “stopull” which means pillar or tower. According to the dictionary of Old Icelandic by By Geir T. Zoëga, the word “staple” has its roots from: “a pillar on which an idol stands.” Staples or pillars would also represent a spiritual gateway.
