Witness Statement: I was stood in my back garden smoking a cigarette and was looking at all the stars as it was a very clear night.
My garden is south facing so I was looking towards the south east, I noticed that what looked like a star was moving from east to west and at first thought it might be a satellite.
It then changed direction northwards for around a couple of seconds before resuming its previous trajectory. About 10 seconds later what was around the same size as the stars around italmost quadrupled in size with a bright burst of white light for about 2 or 3 seconds before going back to its original size and direction. I saw it repeat this bright flash of light twice more before I lost sight of it over my house.
About a minute later I saw another one following the same path and also bursting with white light.
Their we’re aircraft in the sky at the same time but either these 2 objects were incredibly small or they were so high maybe even out of the atmosphere.
Just as I was losing sight of second light I saw a smokey green streak of light shoot straight up but not from the ground it started and ended in the sky a bit like a shooting star but green.
