Witness Statement: I was washing dishes my window faces north I was aware of the bright moon that night. I saw a star ahead of me then suddenly a red image moved rapidly away from the star. It was too fast to be a plane as we often have a lot of air flight over the Island. There were no other flashing lights to indicate an aircraft. I alerted my daughter and her friend , they watched this on and off for aprox 4 hours .
