Witness Statement: Please note -this is a repost of a sighting me,my wife and neighbour had in 2011,with more info and in the hope that someone may have seen the object on the same day or since.
The sighting happened as me and my wife were leaving the house to go to a shop nearby in the car,we started to chat to our neighbour that was outside also when something caught my eye.over the tops of the houses i could see this black object,main shape was triangular but it had some kind of appendage or structure underneath,we agreed all agreed that it looked like the silhoutte of a man hangliding and was roughly the same size maybe a bit bigger but it was hard to see or make it out properly sort of like it was blurred or something and we couldnt focus on it .After discussing this with my wife on several occasions since-we have agreed that it seemed to change shape underneath and that it was hard to focus on it also-almost like the blur you get when something vibrates very fast or when you look at a road surface in the summer and you get the heat ripple effect.I estimate the object to be between 25-40ft wide/long and was about 300-500m away flying level and straight at about 150-200ft max it made no noise at all. I wish i had tried to film it now on my phone but to be fair the light was fading, it happened so quick and i also didnt want to take my eyes off it for a second!
