Witness Statement: I was driving home in Lisburn city when I noticed a large bright red globe in the sky, it was travelling at speed then stopped instantly. It was up about 1000 feet. As I watched it got smaller and smaller in size, it then turned into a white light, I was able to then get a photo of it. The light stayed solid white for about 1 minute then started to flash on and off like a strobe light. I got back into the jeep and drove the extra few minutes that got me home. I then asked my wife to come out and look at it, she got a bit scared but did see it for about 1 minute. I continued to watch for a further 15 mins before the object disappeared within a few seconds. I will email the photo, it’s taken on a phone so it’s not great quality. Andy.
