Witness Statement: Approaching Ashford along the A2070 in the passenger seat of the car I had a feeling something was in the sky. Looking up the whole length of the A2070 there was nothing but white clouds with dashes of grey against blue sky. I watched a airliner up really high and was about to look away when I saw the strangest object ever very low to the ground floating or gliding away from the A2070 towards Tenterden direction. It was huge and how something that size flys is a mystery. It looked like an upside down sharp edged metal flower. If you took a flower with four opwn shap pointed petals and turned it upside down with a bud in the middle top and bottom you got it. It was like a dark tin foil colour and smooth with a line of dots along the base of the bottom of the top bud. I have draw what I saw immediately. I watched for maybe a minute in utter disbelief at what I was looking at as it was nothing like Ive seen before and then the brush got in the way for maybe 8 seconds and despite staying focused on the same spot when we cleared the brush there was nothing but the passenger plane against the blue sky.
