Ghostly Toilet Obsessions?
Still have yet to sage. But something else occurred to me regarding the ghostly goings-on…
The next day Gerick told me that he had seen a shadow going up and down the hall (he had the bedroom door open). He heard noises too and realized they were going into and out of the upstairs bathroom.
So this spirit kept walking back and forth along the hall and into the bathroom, then banging the toilet lid, over and over again. I decided to think about that pattern. Because, you see, that toilet was filthy. We don't use it as much, and it get mineral deposits over time because its not flushed as often, and we neglect to clean it as much as the one downstairs.
I scrubbed it out today. Maybe someone is just picky about certain things? If THAT was all it was, its an easy fix, although I'm not sure how I feel about a spirit criticizing our housekeeping! LOL!
Meanwhile, in other news, after a soaking second half of September where we just got poured on by rain, the last week has been mild, upper 60s to low 70s during the day, and bright sunshine. Some morning fog and afternoon winds. It is absolutely my favorite time of year combined with my favorite weather– for a gorgeous autumn period day after day. Long term forecasts are saying we get at least another week of this– so HUZZAH!
The chilly nights are making the leaves change color finally and how glorious it is! I find myself going outside to do… nothing. Which is funny to me since so much outdoor time has been spent doing farm chores or property upkeep. Until the leaves really start falling, we don't exactly have a lot to do, and I can be lazy, which feels wonderful.
