Took the long drive into the farm country just east of the coastal mountains to meet the family I'm helping. I did a walk-thru of their house, and it was very quiet. They pointed out problem areas, and recounted encounters and I took notes. No deep dark evil things, though. Just a house with memory and maybe a couple of ghostly inhabitants.
When I checked auric fields, I learned the mother and all 3 of her grown children (and at least one grandchild) were naturally psychic or sensitive, and 1 was crazy good at moving astral energy. I smudged them all and cleansed and charged their fields– and discovered the one with constant nightmares had a few tendrils from astral parasites going into her upper spine, neck, and head. I got rid of most of them and severely weakened the 2 that were left. I gave them all instructions for grounding, centering, and shielding, and then showed them how to clean each other's auras out, since they were all so sensitive to such things. I also brought kits to make their own dream catchers and amulet bags for specific issues going on (nightly astral attacks for that one girl with the parasites.) They took to it quickly and all in all, it was a very productive day.
I still have the house to do, but I'm convinced that it should be easy to cleanse, ward, and bless– and since the family is so talented, they'll be able to handle their haunted house quite easily once they're shown how.
We were compensated for gas and supplies, plus they took us out to a very nice dinner as a thank you. (I don't charge money for my services, but I'll accept some compensation.)
I considered spending the night and finishing the house tomorrow, but I was wiped out by all the energy work I did just today, so I told them I'd be back (probably next week) to complete the work. I'm confident I can handle it and its excellent practice for me to work energy like that more often as well.
Meanwhile, the day was gorgeous, sunny, mild breeze, warm low 60s– and we were in wine and farm country, which is a nice change of pace for me (being in tree nursery country myself.) Another long drive back home, but it was a lovely day for long drives, so no complaints here.
