Witness Statement: I was walking with my dog over my local park,at the above time today, And as we turned left off of the path onto the grass a bright flash in the sky caught my attention. I looked in a n/easterly direction where the flash had come from and saw what I presumed to be a large dull black cube shaped advertising balloon tumbling lazily in the sky. I thought it slightly odd that a dull black object had flashed in the sunlight as it flashed again. I saw that it was a facet of the cube reflecting the sunlight like a mirror whilst maintaining a dull appearance. As I watched the tumbling cube it stopped tumbling and adopted a horizontal/vertical position in the sky and became stationary, It kept station for around 2 seconds and then began to rise vertically it rose slowly for 2 to 3 seconds then accelerated swiftly vanishing from sight in 2 to 3 seconds the whole incident lasted approx. 20 to 25 seconds and I heard no sound other than the breeze and the birds and the approaching jet, throughout that time. As the object rose upwards an airliner came into view from the east travelling westwards at about 700 feet in height and in my opinion? the pilots must have seen this object as it rose up in front of their aircraft and continued upwards…
