STAMFORD – A postpartum cat was at the center of a stand-off just days ago. After an intense 3 hours the police entered the home and secured the scene. The cat – who has no prior criminal record – was extremely aggressive when the owners returned home leading them to dial 911.
“My cat was getting too aggressive, and I was inside, and the he attacked me, he scratched me in my leg and he bite me. So me and my wife, we come outside, and now we cannot go in the home for like three to four hours,”
Topping the scale at 7.5 pounds the cat was subdued and no one was injured during the police response.
It is still unclear if the cat will be allowed to keep her kittens or will be ordered to undergo psychiatric treatment after displaying the violent and aggressive behavior.
