Jazz Turns 9, Fiona Gets Spayed

I love my kitties! I don't post about them much because — other people's pets? Sheesh! I know its not something most give a crap about. Still, every now and again I like to update for myself more than anything.

Two milestones happened this weekend…

1. Jazz, my slightly crazy tortie, turned 9 years old! Its hard to believe she's been my steadfast companion all this time! I'm glad I will likely have a few more good years with her. She's persnickety, but she's loyal and such a comfort to me.

She's also getting along pretty well with the newer kitty, and that's a plus. I think Jazz prefers other cats to be around. She's even playing with them and sleeping close to them, which surprises me because she's never been all that friendly to other cats. She merely tolerated Leeloo. Below, a slightly fuzzy pic of Jazz (on left) with Fiona (right.)

The kittens are very close to each other, and their brother was glad to have them home, and freaked out by their victorian collars! They are doing well and already playing and running around like nothing ever happened.
