Wilsonville, OR --(Ammoland.com)- Crimson Trace today announced its latest Laserguard, the LG-489 for the Smith & Wesson Shield in 9mm and 40S&W is now available through distribution, retailers and crimsontrace.com.

With an MSRP of $219, the new sight features Instinctive Activation that allows the use to activate the laser by simply taking a natural firing grip, with no additional switches to search for, find or press.

Introduction of the new Laserguard was expedited due to the exceptionally high demand for the Shield, which has quickly developed a devoted following from consumers wanting a reliable, ergonomic carry gun in a potent caliber.

The Laserguard platform is the ideal and ultimate additional to conceal carry firearms. The entire unit ads virtually no weight to the firearm and is quickly and easily installed by the user simply securing around the trigger guard with provided screws.

Each Laserguard is pre sighted from the factory at 50’ and is fully adjustable by the user to fine tune it to their chosen self defense ammunition.
