ACCOKEEK, MD --(Ammoland.com)- This week on BOA, host, Joe Coogan meets up with Jay Strangis, Editor of American Waterfowler Magazine, and outdoor photographer, Gary Zahm. Together, they enjoy a waterfowl hunt in northern California’s legendary Butte Sink wetlands.

The hunt is organized by call-makers,Tony Binswanger and James Rathjen of Anatra Hunting Company.

To handle the fast-flying duck and goose action, the group use Franchi’s new Instinct L & SL O/Us and the Affinity semi-automatic stoked with Federal Premium’s Black Cloud ammo.

Besides the excellent gunning provided by decoying greenheads, pintail, widgeon, gadwall and cinnamon teal, Coogan, Strangis and Zahm discover that Binswanger and Rathjen are also expert speckle-belly goose callers.

When flocks of specks whiffle down to for a look at the blocks, the action really heats up.

Tune in to Outdoor Channel to see BOA airing Thursdays at 9:30 am (EST) and 3 pm and repeated on Saturdays at 11:30 am.
