There was a 6.8M earthquake in the Russian side of the Alaska islands chain. There was no tsunami generated and the island that was closes to the epic center is not populated so there is no fatalities.
Due to the heavy rains in the Northwest US they are experiencing some minor flooding.
Solar Weather is clear, 25% chance of M class flares. However AR1619, which is dead center of the sun right now is growing into a large sunspot. This can cause us problems over the next 10 days.
