New Honored American Veterans Afield Website Live

Longmeadow, MA – -(Ammoland.com)- 2012 HAVA, Honored American Veterans Afield, announces the launch of their new web site designed to further the HAVA mission of serving the wounded warrior community and raising awareness of the need for Americans to come together on behalf of these defenders of freedom.

The new site, www.honoredveterans.org, features a new look, new sponsor links, new photography and a new way for disabled veterans and injured active duty military to access HAVA services through a new national registry.

“This is our first re-design of the HAVA site since our birth over 5 years ago and we wanted to enhance our message of wounded warrior support in order to continue to deliver on our mission. In addition to a more contemporary look and more exposure for the shooting sports industry companies who selflessly sponsor HAVA operations; the warrior now can enter a national registry of potential participants in HAVA events as one comes into their geographic area.” Said Tom Taylor, HAVA Chairman.

“As warriors leave military hospitals or transition units, we want to enhance our communication with them and continue our interface through active outdoor events for them long term. On the eve of our 5th Annual National Family Day in San Antonio,Texas, where several hundred wounded warriors and their families will join us for a day of outdoor fun, it is particularly gratifying to make this announcement of the launch of a second phase of the HAVA mission of service to military men and women who have given their full measure of commitment to America’s mission of defending freedom throughout the world.”
