Comment #1: A bottomless purse filled w/ snacks & extra diapers b/c there’s no way I’d be broken down somewhere w/out my kids. Said kids are always leaving toys, blankets & jackets in my car so they’d be comfy & as long as I have enough cigarettes to ride out the misery, I’m good.
Comment #2: I have my EDC list, from my work outside to personal, so I would not have a problem for about 2 weeks. After that, the journey would begin.
Comment #3: Wow, that’s entirely to much crap to haul around daily. I kinda use my truck to haul around the wife and kid. I have a rifle and a pistol, some extra ammo and some tools. If I can’t kill it, burn it, or distill it with what I’ve got then I’m screwed either way.
Comment #4: Toilet paper, matches, lighters, flashlight, whistle/compus, emergency blanket, water purification tablets, rain poncho, meds, multipurpose tool, knife, bandaids, food bars, bottle of water plus 32 oz water mug, pocket saw, and never leave home without Sudoku and reading book.
Comment #5: Stale fries, half a cup of Tim Horton’s chili, half a Snickers candy bar, half a bag of Cheetos, bread and butter that came with the chili, three litres of water, one rootbeer, one Fresca, half a dozen rice crispie squares, two fleece jackets, a pair of men’s socks, an iPad, leatherman, flashlight and lighter. Plus enough empty drive-thru bags to light several dozen fires. We’re good. Someday him being a messy slob might save our lives!!
Comment #6: I have a brain. lol I usually have a sleeping bag and pillow in the trunk. Napkins in the glove box (TP and fire starter) I always have a pocket knife and at least one lighter on me. Random trash such as half drank sodas and such floating about in the car. Some random tools. etc. I think I would be fine for a while.
