Comment #1: I am considering the attempt to build a modular, semi-portable living structure which will have the durability comparable to a permanent structure, but will fit in the smallest possible budget.

Comment #2: I would like to be more comfortable operating power tools. I have access to a lot of pallets and I think making things from them will be my big project of 2013.

Comment #3: I would like to learn to read, write, and speak cherokee. I also need to improve skills I already have: land nav and advanced first-aid.

Comment #4: My dream is to move to northern Canada somewhere.. Own a small cabin with a small chuck of land. No neighbors for at least 10 miles and learn to live off the grid. Theirs not much good left in humanity and I’d like to live away from it. Homesteading skills would be nice topics on here.

Comment #5: Trapping for food & only using components found in the area where the trap is to be used to fabricate my traps. Ok, the one tool that I will allow myself will be a knife.
