Here is an item that I think is a must in your medical kit. Povidone iodine. This stuff is cheap and available anywhere. Post SHTF, I think infection / unsanitary conditions are going to thin out even more of the population. Thus, anything that can keep wounds “Clean” is a must. The best way to use this is to apply it to gauze and put on the wound. It has a slow release. For smaller type wounds, use the “Swab Sticks”.
