CO Gun Owners Kick Anti-Gunners Out Of Office, Let’s Do The Same in Utah

Utah --(Ammoland.com)- In the formerly pro-gun state of Colorado grass roots activist were successful in getting enough signatures on a petition to force a recall vote of the two leading figures in Colorado’s recent gun control legislation.
The special election resulted in the ouster of Senate President John Morse and State Senator Angela Giron.
This is the first successful recall of any legislator in Colorado’s history.
What makes this even more amazing is that the anti-gun forces outspent the pro-gun side by six times and the incumbents, who were Democrats in predominantly Democratic districts, were replaced by Republicans.
What these elections show is that party loyalty only goes so far and that if legislators do not support the rights of the people voters will turn them out.
Gun rights activists in Colorado now have their sights set on removing Governor Hickenlooper in the next election cycle.
The USSC plans to channel this same energy among gun owners here in Utah by training and organizing our supporters to participate in the next party nominating conventions.
