Realistic Faux Wood Plank Floor Using Brown Paper!
Never in a million years would you look at the photo above and think – that’s a fake wood effect floor, but that is exactly what it is! I am blown away by how authentic it looks, it looks like a beautiful old wood plank floor… This is now one of my favourite DIY tutorials ever!
I think it is genius how Chris created this faux wood plank floor, it is made with builder’s brown paper that is cut into plank sizes and then it is basically just varnished over. Actually there is a bit more to it than that, so I highly recommend heading over to ‘Remodleaholic’ and checking out this awesome tutorial. Even if you have no interest in doing this, you have to check out the other photos to see just how amazing the finished floor looks.
