(Michigan City, IN) (AmmoLand.com) The Kids & Clays Foundation, which supports a national series of sporting clay events with all proceeds benefitting Ronald McDonald House Charities, is pleased to announce it has added five new event sites for 2015. That brings the total number of sporting clay event sites to 18 in 13 states making it one of the largest series held.

“We are quite pleased to be holding sporting clay events with five more Ronald McDonald Houses this year, all with the goal of helping critically ill children and their families,” said Bill Keyser, president of the Kids & Clays Foundation. “This expansion is only possible thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and the continued hard work of the board and staff.”

Visit www.KidsandClays.com for a complete list of 2015 event locations and dates.

In 1999, Glenn and Kathy Lubeznik, McDonald’s owner/operators in Northwest Indiana, chaired the first annual Sporting Clays Tournament Event benefitting the Chicago Ronald McDonald House® near the University of Chicago Children’s Hospital.   Since its inception, Kids & Clays supported sporting clay and other shooting events have generated more than $13 million for Ronald McDonald Houses, helping tens of thousands of families during their time of need. More than $1.2 million was raised in 2014.

Numerous national sponsors are key to the success of these fundraising shoots. The Kids & Clays Foundation has a long list of sponsors from the outdoor industry as well as McDonald’s affiliated sponsors including:

Winchester Ammunition, Taylor Brands, Henry Repeating Arms, Federal Ammunition, Browning, Blauser, Beretta, Boyt Harness Co., Palmero Health Care, Otis Technologies, Baron Technology, Dr. Pepper, Armada, Laser Shot, Lincoln Traps, Briley, Mossberg, E-Z-GO, White Flyer, Coca Cola, Tyson, Bama, McKay Printing, Keyser Industries, ProMatic Traps, Sporting Clays Magazine, National Shooting Sports Foundation, Barrett Firearms, Camp Chef, Lew Horton Distributing, Caesar Guerini, Howard Communications and North American Arms.

Thanks to these supporters, the Kids & Clays Foundation not only lends its expertise in facilitating sporting clay events, they are able to provide thousands of dollars’ worth of ammunition, firearms, and other merchandise to help raise funds for each supported Ronald McDonald House at their shooting events. Those proceeds allow the Houses to provide a “home away from home” at little or no charge for families of critically ill children receiving care at nearby hospitals across the country.

“As we are thrilled to be able to expand, there is much more room and demand for growth,” said Keyser. “We will continue to work to gain more resources through sponsors so we can further expand our support of the dozens of Houses who have requested our help in developing sporting clay fundraisers.”

The Kids & Clays Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit association and is the charity of choice for the National Skeet Shooting Association, the National Sporting Clays Association, and the Amateur Trap Association.
