Sorry for not posting for a while. Although with me that’s a regular thing. Being regularly irregular. Like an ex girlfriends period. Man, was THAT scary.
Anyways, you may remember the post about the eye corrective surgery. Well, I went ahead and did it.
I mean, there are other ways to ensure your vision if you need corrective vision, such as:
But I went ahead and did the surgery at Lasik M.D. I will tell you two things:

So, you go in for your free consultation in which they measure and look at every aspect of your eye using like 8 different machines. Then they tell you if you’re a candidate or not a candidate (most people are). Then they tell you the general risks and risks specific to you. Then they tell you how much it costs, and book you in for surgery right then if you want it.
The day of the surgery, you’re in the room for about 10 minutes. The surgery itself lasts about 1 minute total per eye. While uncomfortable it’s not painful and is over quickly.
For the first 24 hours you’re confined to bed rest and putting drops in your eyes every hour. The second to the fifth day the drops are 4 times a day (three different drops). Then for the next couple of days it’s only one eye drop. If all goes well.
Your vision sharpens daily. Sometimes it takes a while to “shake the cobwebs out of your eyes” in the morning. You can’t rub your eyes because of the eyeflaps they cut!
All in all, I found it’s totally worth it. If Armageddon comes tomorrow, I won’t be reliant on eye glasses. Like I said it takes at least a month for you to be totally healed, so if you think TSHTF is coming sooner than later and you’re considering laser eye correction, I’d get it sooner than later.
