Laser Ammo to Offer SPIDER
Introducing Simple, Full-Blowback Training with Airsoft for General Consumers
GREAT NECK, N.Y. (01/19/16) – (AmmoLand) Affordability and government-agency-level firearm training was what Laser Ammo had in mind when it developed its recently announced SPIDER adapter, which offers full blowback for recoil-enabled training.
The airsoft attachment offers a safe, cost-effective method to train with simulated blowback, a feature that’s hard to come by for general consumers, according to Laser Ammo VP of Business Development and Sales Chen Shoshani.
“Up until now, the only shooters who could afford the expensive conversion kits to achieve full blowback training were at government agencies,” he said. “Now our fans can train like the professionals do utilizing a pistol specifically replicated to look and feel like their everyday carry firearms.”
The SPIDER converts airsoft or blanks-conversion blowback pistols with Picatinny rails into laser-emitting, full-blowback training mechanisms. It can house the Laser Ammo SureStrike vibration cartridge and coordinates with simulators, training software, electronic targets and tactical vests.
“When we launched previous conversion kits at SHOT Show last year, they were a big hit,” Shoshani said. “People were amazed at the ability to train with blowback – it was a totally new concept from regular dry-fire training. But they wanted a product they could use with a variety of different pistols – the SPIDER is the answer.”
The SPIDER converter will be available for purchase in early 2016 (MSRP $59.95).
