Prime Archery Shooters Shine at World Archery European Indoor Championships

MEMPHIS, Mich. -(Ammoland.com)- Prime Archery, a leading manufacturer of the most technologically advanced and highest-quality bows available, is pleased to report that Prime Archery Pro Staff (Italy) member Jacopo Polidori has won the Gold Medal in the Compound Division at the 2017 World Archery European Indoor Championships.
With the new Prime STX39 V2, Polidori finished 18th in the qualification round with a score of 587 out of a possible 600.
He then proceeded through four elimination rounds, with each round Jacopo over taking a higher seeded archer.
Jacopo, who switched to shooting a Prime Bow beginning with this year’s competitive indoor season, beat the current number one ranked archer in the World Archery Rankings, to win the Gold Medal.
Along with his individual medal, Jacopo helped Team Italy win the Compound Men’s Team Round as well.
“I’m honored to represent this special family at this event. The bows are great and the team is very supportive,” stated Jacopo.
“We really couldn’t be happier for Jacopo. His determination, and perseverance over seemingly insurmountable odds placed him at the top of the podium, and we are pleased to be able to play a role in this great victory,” stated Matt Grace, President of G5 Outdoors/Prime Archery. “He is a great member of the Prime team and a true professional – we are fortunate to have him on our team.”
The 2017 World Archery European Championships which began on March 7th and ran through the 12th also witnessed three other Prime Archery Pro Staff members take home medals.
Coming out of Vittel, France with medals were Prime Pro Staff members:
Peter Elzinga (Team Netherlands) – Silver: Compound Men’s Team Round
Erika Anear (Team Denmark) – Gold: Compound Women’s Team Round
Irene Franchini (Team Italy) – Silver: Compound Women’s Team Round
“This win by Jacopo and the rest of the Prime Pro Staff members, is a huge boost for the Prime archery presence internationally and an amazing way to close the book on the 2017 indoor archery season,” stated Matt Grace.
