It’s hard to believe it was nearly 2 years ago when we first posted this. This is the band The Army You Have, fronted by Gary and Shelli Eaton. (Zo, a great drummer, hand-syncs Gary Eaton’s drum tracks for the video.)
The song quietly and confidently states, “See You In November.” Now it is up to all of us to follow through on this forewarning.
Romney wasn’t the presumptive nominee when this song was written. That matters little. It was an anti-progressive song then, but by default it belongs to Romney/Ryan now.
I’m not quite feeling an unstoppable tide for Romney just yet, and as November nears it’s imperative that we spread a message of positivity, even if it’s among just a few people in private conversation.
It’s just like the Faberge shampoo commercial. You tell two friends, they tell two friends, and so on and so on, and before you know it we have the groundswell we are going to need.
It’s going to take a 100% effort on every front, and no matter how insignificant you think a passing comment might be, anything negative is not helping – unless it is directed at Obama.
I’ll see you in November, Mitt. In the voting booth!
