5 Romantic Cities to Visit for Valentine's DayOne of the most thoughtful gifts you can get your significant other for Valentine’s Day is a quick, weekend rendezvous to a romantic destination. Even though Valentine’s Day is fast approaching, there’s still time to make some travel plans.

Here are 5 romantic cities to go to this Valentine’s Day.

New York City, New York
There are so many romantic things to do in New York City that we had to include it on our list. Sure, the city is bustling with activity, but there are plenty of places to experience some memorable, intimate times with your partner. You could go through Central park on a carriage ride, visit the Brooklyn Botanic Garden, take in a Broadway show together, have a drink at a roof-top bar taking in the skyline or going for a midnight stroll and stop at a coffee shop to share a dessert like a slice of famous New York Cheesecake.

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina
Right now it’s the off season for Myrtle Beach which makes it the perfect Valentine’s Day getaway for those that love the beach, but are on a budget. You and your sweetheart can spend your days lounging on the sand and ending it with a romantic dinner at night. One of the best places to find entertainment, dining and shopping is Barefoot Landing along the intracoastal.  Take a ride on the 190 ft. high Myrtle Beach SkyWheel in the Boardwalk district.  For Valentine’s Day, many area hotels are having specials that include chocolates and champagne upon arrival.

Sedona, Arizona
Sedona is tranquil and romantic in nature. It’s a great place to visit for those that want to enjoy peace and quiet. It will allow you and your significant other to get away from the city and spend some one on one time together while exploring the area. Hot air balloon rides, a scenic railroad trip and stargazing are all romantic things to do in Sedona.

San Francisco, California
This city is filled with a lot of things to do for couples. There’s everything from visiting Fisherman’s Wharf, the Golden Gate Bridge or one of the many shops and restaurants. Take a sunset cruise on a catamaran, go boating in Stow Lake or have a picnic in Golden Gate Park.  Another perk to visiting this city is that no matter where you are at in San Francisco, you are bound to get a great view.

Napa Valley, California
Wine, spas and relaxation, it doesn’t get much better than traveling to Napa Valley for Valentine’s Day. Not only can you and your honey stop by a vineyard and taste some outstanding wine, but you can visit one of the areas many spas for one of their relaxing treatments. In addition to all of this, Napa Valley is very picturesque with its vineyards acting as a backdrop to the city.

Each of these cities has so much to offer travelers that you really can’t go wrong with any of them. If you are planning to travel for Valentine’s Day, now is the time to make those last minute travel plans!
