A 15-year-old girl wearing leggings, a tank top and a button-down T-shirt claims a Transportation Security Administration agent humiliated her, telling her to cover up as she passed through an ID-check line at Los Angeles International Airport on Father’s Day.

“She said the officer was ‘glaring’ at her and mumbling,” the girl’s father, Mark Frauenfelder, told Yahoo Shine.

“She said, ‘Excuse me?’ and he said, ‘You’re only 15, cover yourself!’ in a hostile tone.”

He said, “It shook her up.”

Frauenfelder, who is editor in chief of Make magazine and founder of the blog Boing Boing, explained that his daughter, Sarina, had been traveling with a group of high-school students on a trip to explore colleges.

After the incident, Sarina began texting her parents.

“I’m furious!” she wrote. “He was so rude and hostile. He made me feel like a slut.”

  • Wait a minute. I thought the DHS was the official goon squad.

  • Omerta

Those pedo’s down at the tsa have a hard enough time keeping it together without any extra encouragement, get it together dad.

  • They were upset because they couldn’t Frisk her, because her close was so skin tight they can see she couldn’t hide anything if she tried

  • Herro again! I do riddle Google search and learizie girl’s father maybe the target.

  • I haven’t flown in over 10 years. I’m disabled and have to use a wheelchair, so I’m really scared about how I’ll be treated by the TSA now, since all the stories I’ve heard of disabled people having problems. It’s no problem for now, I drive to where I need to go, but in the future I’ll be going to international horse shows (as a para-rider…that’s disabled people showing horses) and I’m not going to avoid my dream of making it to the paralympics just because of the TSA. but I’m seriously stressed about it.

  • Next time put on a burka. Is that enough cover?

  • I put forward that the offended TSA was a Muslim.

  • Well yeah, look at how she is dressed! I dated tons of guys, and had tons of fun when I was 15. All without dressing like a prostitute.

She looks like a WHORE and she does need to cover up.

She is ugly too, wish she would put a bag on her head. Just gross. Abominations like this need to be slaughtered brutally.

    • Yea but your OLD now, old and grumpy, and very judgemental

    • I dated tons of guys, and had tons of fun when I was 15,.. Wow what does that make you…lol

  • I also can bet the TSA agent is a Muslim

  • Is the USA now under Sharia law?

  • Well, it does look like she forgot to finish dressing that morning. Sorry to say, but the styles for young women/girls these days are slutty/sexed up. If they wear them in public, how can they expect folks to differentiate ?

Young women are so arrogant these days, they don’t know when they should blush anymore. As a mother of boys, I take umbrage with her indignant attitude. I don’t care how cool her dad is — he is very careless with his daughter’s well-being. It’s up to the parents to set the level of respectability for their children.

TSA may have a few human beings among their employees after all.

    • Maybe she can find a T-shirt to explain herself so no one gets the wrong idea.

  • there are more people like this “Security Administration agent” everywhere in the world.. their heads must be washed by some weird religious nonsenses..

  • Anonymous

Seems like a reasionable classification for that type of clothing. On this matter I side with the TSA; SLUT!

  • One of the problems with young princess britches these days is not only are they as naive as they are immodest, they cop the attitude of “Excuse me?” like a gag order. Would she have liked it better if she’d been come on to?

The TSA agent was likely an older gentleman who was actually doing a bit of needed (grand)parenting.

As a woman, I have to constantly refrain myself from giving advice to my youngers with their cleavages and crotches hanging out everywhere. This is a demeaning cultural trend of “self-expression” where girls don’t get that they look like a piece of meat instead of sugar and spice and everything nice.

Young people think older people are rude and hostile because they become cross and scold. How mean. How dare you. Sometimes — we’ve just had enough.

You ain’t gonna gag me today, Toots. But there are plenty out there who would excuse you.

    • This is not an example of TSA’s excess, btw.

    • Nudity does not equal sexuality. In tribes that practice nudity, they are not overstimulated by nudity. It is your own conception that makes it so. That having been said, our society does not practice public nudity in large measure. As a result we DO connect nudity to sexual stimulation. This kind of reminds me of parents who get cops called on them for “child pornography” after getting bath time photos printed. My question becomes this. If there is no actual sex involved or overtly sexual display and you still find that offensive, then perhaps your problem can be found in the mirror.

  • Miles upon miles of genitals is more than sanity can provide.

  • And again you sound like a slut yourself…..tons of fun, what are you a fashion god….get a life.
