Huge Rock Carving Baffles Historians

A team of explorers have found a huge rock carving in Latin America that could really challenge history.  The rock was previously discovered more than 50 years ago and was thought to have been destroyed but a team of explorers have apparently rediscovered it and are currently conducting research on the large artifact.  What makes the finding extremely challenging to history is the apparent age, size and appearance of the rock carving.  The carving shows clearly the features of a white European male in an area where only legends speak of them having visited in ancient times.  Will this piece change history?
