“This is not a friendly port call. In two weeks, we will see a crescendo of air attacks on Aleppo as part of Russia’s strategy to declare victory there.”

So the Russian Navy has moved their warships out of the Northern seaport of Murmansk/Arkhangelisk and some out of the Baltic seaport of Kalliningrad . My guess would be that they have sent several Akuula (shark) class subs as escorts and at least one Typhoon class sub (the largest sub that carries the largest payload of SLBM’s of any naval sub) along as well . They are probably keeping the Black Sea fleet in port to use against NATO forces in south eastern Europe as well as Turkey (which is located just south of the Crimea across the Black Sea) and obviously the Pacific fleet (in Vladivostok) will move on Alaska and the U.S. west coast immediately if all out war is declared . I’m sure that they must also have positioned and kept a number of their subs off of our east coast and in the gulf of Mexico since there were reports of this not all that long ago and they could easily port and resupply in Cuba if they needed to . NOT GOOD !!!
Well said. Thanks
