Top 5 Most Secret and Most Feared U.S. Military Aircraft

That date on it is even more crazy how long it’s been around. #3) is so big, it has to have extra ginormous hangers built at Area 51.

As for #1… It’s never “Officially” been seen, but managed to find it’s way into a 1985 Congressional budget by name… with a price tag making the F-35’s look cheap.

The Aurora
Perhaps the most secret of all the top secret weapons is the Aurora. With no conclusive proof that it has ever even been built and no confirmed sightings, the Aurora’s very existence continues to remain a mystery. However, this top secret weapon may have been heard in recent months as reports of mysterious sonic booms have been reported from California to New York to the UK. These unusual sonic booms were recorded by U.S. Geological Survey sensors and had a very unique pattern to them. Some experts believe these sonic boom patterns suggest a pulse detonation engine, which could result in speeds six times the speed of sound.
The X-37B
Yeah, we’ve got robots in space. The worst kept secret at Kennedy Space Center is the unmanned X-37B. This top secret weapon looks like a mini space shuttle that hitches a ride into space inside a rocket, shoots into orbit for more than a year, and then glides down back to earth. While the military claims this is not a secret weapon, but a vehicle testing reusable space technologies, it is still classified. Some say a whole fleet of X-37B crafts will be produced for orbital surveillance, space-bombing, or even as anti-satellite weaponry.
The RQ-180
In order to fight a war with ISIS or any enemy, surveillance and reconnaissance are the keys to gaining the upper hand, and that’s exactly what the RQ-180 is rumored to do. This top secret weapon is large and said to be housed at the granddaddy of all top secret weaponry sites, Area 51. With radar-evading technology and penetrating surveillance, it’s the most advanced top secret spying weapon on the planet. This stealthy machine will be used to spy undetected over contested airspace, such as ISIS controlled territories, Iran, Russia, and North Korea.
Blackstar
This isn’t the hip-hop duo of the 1990s, it is the top secret weapons program that the U.S. allegedly shut down in the late 1990s. This suborbital weapon could serve as a spy satellite, but with better results because its path isn’t predictable like a satellite, so an enemy can not monitor it. Other top secret missions might include placing temporary satellites in orbit and then retrieving them, dropping nuclear bombs from space, or launching high-speed rockets with pinpoint accuracy.
Stealth Black Hawk
One top secret weapon that recently got exposed was the Stealth Black Hawk. Two of these secret military helicopters were famously used in the mission that snuck into Pakistan and killed Bin Laden. This top secret weapon might still be hidden if one hadn’t crash landed into the compound. While Navy SEALS managed to blow the disabled Stealth Black Hawk up, some parts were not destroyed, and the existence of this top secret weapon was revealed.
