Written by John DiPasquale:
After the region wide about an 1.5 to 2.0″ of rain late last week & Saturday has made the lawns, gardens & farmers happier. We still are in need of some more rain, though, as you can see in the pic above. We all should receive at least a little more between Tuesday & Wednesday thanks to a slow moving, weakening cold front. A few showers & storms will likely pop Tuesday afternoon & evening, before a few more skirt through Wednesday. Temperatures will be well up into the 80s on this Monday, which by the way will be very nice! Highs Tuesday should reach the mid 80s, & the low to mid 80s will likely be what we feel on Wednesday.
Thursday right now looks dry & warm with sun & mid to upper 80s. Come Friday & the weekend it looks like we will add at least one to the 90+ degree days. Highs should be within a few degrees of 90, with Saturday likely being the hottest, as we will probably make it into the low to mid 90s! Much of the time looks dry Friday through the weekend, but on Sunday there should be more numerous showers & storms developing ahead & with a cold front.
Have a great day everyone!
