Snowfall has been falling across the area, however starting after midnight, going through Sunday … a surface low bombing south of the area will bring gusty winds into the mix, which will bring about blowing snowfall and blizzard conditions to the entire warned area.
Our projections are seeing thundersnow being likely for Eastern MA into Northern Rhode Island on Sunday morning.
The heaviest snowfall + blizzard conditions will be in Southern Maine with this event.
