Fresh moderate earthquake recorded in Bajura, Nepal

Magnitude 4.6 moderate earthquake has been recorded in Bajura at 03:16 pm Tuesday afternoon. The epicenter was located near Madana, northwest of Rara Lake.
Several moderate earthquakes have been recorded in mid western and far western region in last two months. Three weeks earlier, magnitude 5.4 earthquake hit Rukum district of Mid Western Development Region.
Yesterday, Nepal Seismological Center had magnitude 4.4 aftershock in Sindhupalchowk at 09:14 pm. The tremor was even felt in Kathmandu valley.
The death toll from April 25 mega earthquake has reached 8,895, Nepal Disaster Risk Reduction Portal mentioned. The highest number of deaths have been reported from Sindhupalchowk district (3,532) followed by Kathmandu (1,226).
