With the presentation of the accusatory findings against 7 participants in the Casino Royale arson attack that killed 52 innocent people, the prosecution asked the judge to impose the maximum penalty for murder and group conspiracy.
The maximum sentence that a perpetrator can receive in Mexico is 60 years.
The indictment was filed by the prosecutor, now the defense attorneys have 10 days to present their findings.
Sentencing for the attachers will occur in early December.
The seven detainees were charged with homicide for the killings of 52 people at the casino on August 25, 2011.
